How it started
Months of research. One phone call.
Dan went looking for something better than a chlorine pool and found Joey. He hired him to build a swim pond in his own backyard and got something that beat every expectation. The two got on so well that the customer became the partner.
Joey is the artist, meticulous about every rock, in the water with the crew on every build. Dan runs everything else so Joey can stay in the water.

What the badge actually means.
Aquascape is the company behind the ecosystem pond, and it certifies the contractors who build them. There are four levels. Master Certified is the top one, earned by the number of features built and by training every year, and it has to be re-earned. Alongside it sit Horticulture Technician diplomas from Durham College, which is why the planting looks like it grew there.
